Refund policy

At Halfex Chemicals LLP, we are committed to ensuring transparency and trust in every transaction. Due to the technical and professional nature of our ingredients and repackaged raw materials, all orders are treated as final once placed. Kindly read the following policies carefully before making a purchase.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

1a. Domestic Orders (India)

All orders placed on halfex.co are final and processed immediately for batching, quality check, and dispatch. We can only accept cancellation requests if the following conditions are strictly met:

  • The cancellation request is made within 1 hour of placing the order.

  • You must email us at halfex.mailbox@gmail.com with your Order Number and complete address details for verification.

If the above is satisfied, we will issue a store credit (coupon code) which can be used on your next order — valid indefinitely.

1b. International Orders

All international orders are also final upon placement. However, we may consider cancellation requests under the following limited conditions:

  • The cancellation request is sent within 1 hour of placing the order.

  • You email us at halfex.mailbox@gmail.com with your Order Number and address for verification.

Once verified, a store credit coupon will be issued that must be used within 30 days of approval.
(This helps us comply with global export timelines and remittance norms.)

2. Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

All sales made via Halfex Chemicals are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, with few exceptions as outlined below. Please evaluate samples or smaller pack sizes before placing large orders.

2a. Product Not Meeting Expectations

Due to the nature of aroma chemicals and natural extracts, olfactory preferences and batch-to-batch variation are common. We do not offer refunds, returns, or credits for reasons such as:

  • You did not like the scent

  • It did not perform as expected

  • It smells different from a previous batch

Important notes:

  • Repackaged Ingredients: Minor profile changes can occur due to oxidation, packaging, and handling.

  • Batch Variation: Differences in purity, isomers, pH, and other specs are normal across manufacturers or batches.

  • Recommendation: Always sample small quantities and perform thorough testing before larger commitments.

2b. Product Mismatch (Wrong Item Sent)

Although we follow strict QA protocols and batch labeling systems, if you suspect an error in your shipment:

  • Email your concern to halfex.mailbox@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  • If it’s your first-time purchase of the material, we will still investigate the concern.

  • In some cases, we may request you to send the item back for internal testing and verification.

If a genuine mix-up is found on our end:

  • You will receive a store credit valid for 1 year, OR

  • We will re-ship the correct product (India only).

For international shipments, any return shipping cost must be borne by the customer.

3. Discretion Clause

All decisions regarding cancellation, replacement, or credit issuance are made at the sole discretion of Halfex Chemicals, based on internal audit and evidence.
